Strolling through Nishi-ward: Pukarisanbashi Pier

Standing between skyscrapers in Minato Mirai 21 area, I feel as if I were Gulliver lost in Brobdingnag, country occupied by giants. Looking up, you will find a cluster of high-rise buildings like concrete capsule, which makes my neck hurt. There are metal objet d'art surrounding those building vertically and horizontally. I can say that this is Science Fiction world. But there is only one human touch scenery, which is a flock of colorful flowers in valley between those buildings. I wonder who planted them. It was very kind consideration of him.

I like Pukarisanbashi Pier, which is a station for Sea Bus too. It is an elegant building floating on the water. In fact, it is not a building, but a ship. Therefore, a person responsible for this place is not a director but a real captain. By the way, I had a glass of beer at the second-floor restaurant, I felt tipsy faster than usual, maybe because it’s floating.
