Strolling through Nishi-ward: Nishi-ward Hazawa



The city of Yokohama was ravaged by Great Kanto earthquake in Taisho era and war in Showa era. But the city has risen like a phoenix from the ashes.



Now the city is becoming a modern city like a megapolis in another planet with Landmark Tower in Minato Mirain 21.



But once you slip into back streets, you will find a nostalgic old town atmosphere here and there, making me feel relieved to be honest. A scenery of same color stray cats sunbathing nearby old-style houses and alley is also precious.
