Description
There is a large “East Exit Bus Terminal” on the first floor of Sogo Yokohama department store at the East Exit of Yokohama Station. The bus terminal used to be located in the plaza in front of the station but it was relocated here in November 1981.
There are three rows of bus stops of A, B and C and there are local buses bound for port area and long-distance buses bound for Osaka and Kyoto as well as those bound for tourist sites such as Tokyo Disney Resort departing one after another. From the neighboring YCAT (Yokohama City Air Terminal), there are limousine buses bound for Haneda Airport and Narita Airport as well as overnight buses bound for Aomori, Akita, Morioka and Kanazawa departing one after another.
When I go outside from the backside of Sogo Yokohama second floor, I can see the bus parking lot of the bus terminal. There are local buses, “Burari-Sankeien Bus” (bound for Sankeien Garden), “Burari-Nogeyama-dobutsuen Bus” (bound for Nogeyama Zoo), “Akai Kutsu Bus” taking a rest, and articulated-bus “Bayside Blue” waiting for departure. I always use those buses. Thank you for the service.
