Description
From behind the Sogo Yokohama shop at the east exit of Yokohama station, I walked towards Minatomirai. Cross the Hamamirai Walk, go along the Nissan Walk in the headquarters of Nissan Mortar, walk along Tochinoki Street for a while and you will find Takashima Central Park, a large park surrounded by high-rise flats and buildings. On holidays, dads join in the family fun.
If you walk from the center of the park towards Rinko Park, you will find the 56-metre-long pedestrian deck "King Mall Bridge", which opened last April. To the right of the bridge stands Pacifico Yokohama North, which opened in April last year and houses Japan's largest multi-purpose hall and a number of conference rooms. On the left side of the bridge are two luxury hotels, The Kahala Hotel and Yokohama Bay Court Club Hotel (members only), both completed last year. The amazing glass building(?) hotels reminded me of Ukiyo-e masterpieces from the Edo period. I was reminded of a masterpiece of Ukiyo-e from the Edo period, " Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji: The Great Wave off Kanagawa" by Hokusai Katsushika.
After going down the bridge, you will find the Rinko Park, where there was a lawn. I relaxed and looked at the Bay Bridge for a while.
