Onko Chishin! Trek-trek Sketch in Nishi-ward: Momiji-zaka (Momiji Slope)

It is located near Sakuragicho station and was named as Momiji-zaka because there used to be many Japanese maple trees in this area. When you go up steep Momiji-zaka, you will find Kanagawa magistrate's office site on your right and Prefectural Youth Center next to it. There are Prefectural Music Hall built in 1954 (Showa 29) and Prefectural Library in the back.

In post-war unsettling society, advent of modern facilities gave me a hope of bright future. I belonged to the choir in high school. I had a lot of great memories of having a performance at Prefectural Music Hall and going to many concerts. I went to Prefectural Library many times because I can read valuable books easily. I hope now many students create great memories in those facilities like I did.
