Description

A tall stone-piled wall at the corner of Noge Intersection.
This is a stone-piled retaining wall with hexagonal stones, built for the residence of Senzou Hiranuma, a wealthy merchant during the Meiji period. The technique is called Kikkou Stacking, and its accuracy is one of the best in the city.
It is famous along with the Western style Bluff Stacking at Yamate.
