Description

It was founded by Nichiyou in Bunroku 4 (1595).
The premises surrounded by trees is filled with tranquility, and you can see a large ginkgo tree that has been designated an Old Tree of Historical Interest by the City of Yokohama.
There is also a tomb (memorial tower) of Kuranosuke Nagahiro Kondo who began the Tennen Rishin-ryu martial art, and Isami Kondo, the famed commander for the Shinsengumi, is its fourth generation master.
